WORLD CHINA
NETWORK ASSOCIATION (WCNA)
The World China Network Association (WCNA)
is a non-for-profit
international organization aiming at the development of international
networks between the World and China, to help the World focus on China
and China open to the World. WCNA’s head office is located in Montreal,
Canada.
WCNA’s global networks:
North America-China Network (NACN), Latin America-China Network (LACN),
Europe-China Network (EUCN), Asia Pacific-China Network (APCN) and
Africa-China Network (AFCN).
WCNA’s multinational
networks: Commonwealth-China Network (CCN), OIF-China Network (OIFCN),
OEI-China (OEICN),
CIS-China Network (CISCN), AL-China Network (ALCN) and etc.
WCNA’s professional networks:
World China Economic and Social Network (WCESN), World China Science and
Technology Network (WCSTN), World China Education and Training Network (WCETN)
and World China Culture and Arts Network (WCCAN).

The International
Investment Forum
The International Investment Forum, organized by
the Economic Information Department of the China Council for the Promotion
of International Trade (CCPIT) and WCNA, in Xi’an International
Convention Centre, Xi’an, China will be held on April 7, 2005,
during the period of the Sino-Foreign Enterprises Cooperation Projects
Matchmaking Seminar, the 4th China Western Region Foreign Investment
Promotion Fairs (Inwest) and the 9th Investment & Trade Forum for
Cooperation between East & West China (ITFCEWC). The main topics
of the forum include:
- multinational investment in China,
- global investment opportunities
for Chinese investors
- international regulations and financial
services on FDI,
- world investment networking with
China.
7th China Beijing International
High-Tech Expo
The
representative of WCNA is invited to deliver a speech for the forum
on May 22, 2004 from the 7th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo,
hosted by China’s Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry
of Commerce, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Information Industry,
CCPIT, State Intellectual Property Office, The People’s Government
of Beijing Municipality; in cooperation with China Academy of Sciences,
China Academy of Engineering, China Enterprise Confederation, China
Association for Science and Technology; organized by CCPIT Beijing in
Beijing.
A
discussion in Beijing on September 14, 2004 between China Education
of International Exchange (CEAIE) and WCNA for future cooperation possibilities
on international education exchanges.
As
an observer, the representative of WCNA was invited to participate in
the International Network for Cultural Diversity (INCD) Steering Committee
Annual Meeting, organized by INCD, in cooperation with China Federation
of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC), in Shanghai, China on October 11-15.
